The SVTI licence certifies that the appropriate measures are taken in the company to separate, process, inspect and restamp products.
Swiss TS Technical Services AG, an accredited inspection body with the ID number 1253 for the assessment of the legal conformity and safety of pressure vessels and systems, has licensed LB MetallService AG (see PDF document) according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC Annex I, paragraph 3.1.5 and the Ordinance on the Safety of Pressure Equipment SR 819.121 to transfer identification plates for the purpose of identifying materials in semi-finished products or components for the plant (or for construction sites). The individuals authorised to restamp and their markings are listed in the licence. This licence confirms that the requirements of the following technical standards/regulations have been fulfilled:
- EN 12952-5, section 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 – material identification, marking
- EN 13445-4, section 4.2, 9.8 – traceability, marking
- EN 13480-4, section 6.2 – transfer of the marking
- AD-2000, HP0, section 4 – preservation of the marking
